How you glow is completely up to how you curate your bundle. But for the ultimate Fox Tan routine, follow these golden babe steps below:

STEP 1 - PREP
For your darkest, deepest glow possible, Rapid Elixir is the non-negotiable first step. Formulated with the maximum dosage of our exclusive FoxComplex®, this powerhouse formula rapidly increases melanin production to prep your skin for faster, darker tanning results. Use daily for 3-5 days before UV exposure and/or continue using if you’re gaming plenty of UV exposure. Don’t skip this step!

STEP 2 - ACCELERATE
Choose your fave tanning accelerator and apply evenly before sun or sunbed use to rapidly boost melanin production for deeper, darker tanning results with less time exposed to UV. Every accelerator is powered by our viral FoxComplex® technology, so they all work to dramatically enhance your tanning results, it really just comes down to your personal vibe. Choose your fave texture, scent and finish, whether you want shimmer, warming sensations, rich balms, whipped textures, lightweight mists or juicy oils.

STEP 3 - PROTECT
Layer your SPF on top after your accelerator absorbs. We recommend our SPF CLUB range, formulated to protect your skin while still enhancing your tan. It’s SPF that works with your tan, not against it. Reapply often, especially after swimming or sweating.

STEP 4 - HYDRATE
Lock in your glow with post-sun hydration. Use Sun Tan Sealer, Aloe Vera Gel or our Hydrating Body Spray to flood skin with hydration after UV exposure. Deeply hydrated skin looks glowier, feels silkier, tans darker and holds onto that fresh golden colour for way longer.

Yes, our products can absolutely help! Our tanning accelerators are designed to enhance your skin’s natural tanning process by helping to boost melanin production. Because everyone’s skin is different, results can vary depending on how your body naturally produces melanin. That said, we receive incredible feedback from babes who previously struggled to tan, including fair skin tones, redheads, and those who normally just burn when exposed to UV, who are now seeing amazing results. The key for fair skin tones is not skipping the prep step. Apply Rapid Elixir daily for 3–5 days before sun exposure. This step helps prepare your skin by kick-starting the natural tanning process (melanin production), giving your skin the best chance to develop a deeper, more even natural glow.

Can I use SPF with your products?

Yes, absolutely. Apply your Fox Tan accelerator first and allow it to settle into your skin, then follow with your SPF. While sunscreen may slow the tanning process slightly, it helps protect your skin from burning while you work on your glow. Our SPF Club range was designed to be used perfectly alongside our tanning accelerators. For the face, try our Everyday Invisible Serum Face SPF 50 or Everyday Tinted Zinc Face SPF 50+ for lightweight, fragrance-free protection. For the body, our Glow Boosting Body SPF 30 protects while supporting your glow with L-Tyrosine and Beta Carotene, plus a subtle sunlit shimmer and a sweet tropical vanilla scent. Remember to reapply your SPF regularly and top up your Fox Tan accelerator as needed!

Can I use The Fox Tan in a sunbed?

Sure can!* Our products are just as effective in a tanning bed as they are outdoors. Given they are short bursts of UV, the more sessions the better the results. Indoor or outdoor tanning simply use as directed on our products page. However please note our Rapid Candy Oil & Rapid Bronzing Balm cannot be used in sunbeds.

Rapid Elixir helps prepare the skin by boosting melanin production before UV exposure, giving your skin the best foundation to develop a deeper, darker natural tan. When you’re in the sun (or sunbed), follow with one of our tanning accelerators. Using both Rapid Elixir + an Accelerator means you’re getting the maximum dose of our exclusive ingredient FoxComplex®, helping you achieve your fastest and darkest natural tanning results. Choosing your accelerator mostly comes down to personal preference. They all work to enhance the tanning process, so it’s really about picking the texture, scent, or added features you love most. You might prefer a mist, oil, whip, balm or lotion, or choose one with fun extras like cooling, warming, bronzing or shimmer effects. Our accelerator range includes Rapid Mist, Watermelon Shimmer, Caramel Kiss, Rapid Accelerator, Candy Oil, Bronzing Balm, Banana Whip, Man Mist, Bronzer Whip, Vanilla Custard and Warming Balm**. *Please note Candy Oil and Bronzing Balm are not suitable for sunbeds as they contain oils.
